Clothing Shopping for School

Each year, the kids grow taller and bigger and need new clothing for school. The more kids that you have, the more expensive this can get. With name brands popping up all over the place– names like Ed Hardy and Old Navy– where a t-shirt costs anywhere from $20 t0 $100, using a clothing coupon is more than necessary. Each new school year, it also becomes more and more difficult to shop for school clothes because they impose new rules that make choosing outfits all the more difficult. Some high schools don’t allow clothing that show logos and other schools don’t allow certain colored clothing because of gang affiliations.

Early in August, all of the clothing stores start to put out a clothing coupon in the Sunday newspaper so that you can reasonably purchase the clothes that your kids need to attend school. The real luck is when you find a clothing coupon that you actually need. Having more than one child to purchase for can be difficult. When you find coupons that allow you to purchase three shirts, in any size, for $15 you are making a deal. That just bought you a new shirt for each one of the kids that they can wear all year long.

It can be a challenge when you need a clothing coupon for specific items like jerseys for their various sporting endeavors or uniforms, which more and more  schools are starting to convert to. There are never enough discounts and coupons for the clothes that you really need, but if you start early enough in the summer, you can reasonably purchase all of the clothing that your kids need before the start of the year. In most cases, unless a child attends a school that insists on specific regulations on what can be worn, the standard jeans and t-shirts of various lengths are a good bet for kids attending junior high and high school. There is never any fussing over skirt lengths being too short or colors not matching. They are jeans, they’re blue, they match everything. Then, if you have kids that care for their clothing, it makes it easier to pass them along to the younger ones as well.
